A staged reading of the play “Until August” based upon the book of the same name by Adam Catlin. Suggested donation of $10 to attend.
Adam Catlin is a 2002 graduate of Southwestern College, where he majored in Mass Communications. He first gained acclaim as a writer in the film department when his screenplay Waiting for Andrea won Best Screenplay in the fall of 2000. While at Southwestern College, he was on the National Dean's List in 2001 and 2002. He was also a radio personality on KSWC, the college radio station, from 2000-2002.
Catlin is the author of the novels Until August (2004), You Only Live Once (2005), Night Wind (2006), On a Clear Day You Can See Conway (2007), Synchronicity (2009), From Among the Dead (2010), Visions of Anne Lively (2011), Sentinels of St John's (2012), and Uninvited (2021).
Catlin lives in Augusta with his wife, Katherine, and their two children, Aiden and Shaylee. He is currently at work on his newest novel, A Simple Twist of Fate, a sequel to Uninvited.
