First Friday at the Marquee: Etzanoa

The Marquee Performing Arts Center celebrates Peoples Indigenous Cultures and Peoples month with a First Friday presentation about Etzanoa, the city of the Wichita People. This Friday, November 7, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Etzanoa Conservancy director Georgia Zavala will share a presentation about the historical city. The city known as Etzanoa and dubbed "the Great Settlement" by Spanish explorers flourished between 1450 and 1700 is located near the Arkansas River in Arkansas City. The presentation is for individuals of all ages and admission is FREE of charge. Donations for concessions are encouraged.

This month will feature a porkburger, baked beans, chips, dessert and drink for only $8. This month’s luncheon is sponsored by the Winfield Lions Club. Dine in or carry out.

Call of the Gamers: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Tournament

Compete in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for Cash Prizes!

Come compete on August 16, 2025 at the Marquee Lobby. Doors open at 6 and the tournament starts at 7. $5 to enter into the tournament; one entry per individual. All proceeds and donation go to support the Marquee PAC.

Terms for participating in and viewing Community Tournaments using Nintendo Games (For all Participants and Spectators)

Nintendo wishes to support making Nintendo Games, online services, and events safe, friendly, and enjoyable for everyone. • Underage Participants should consult with and obtain consent from a parent or guardian before participating in Community Tournaments.

• The use of unauthorized software or tools, pirated or modified versions, etc., is prohibited.

• Nintendo reserves the right to take appropriate action against Community Tournaments where these rules are not followed. To ensure that everyone who participates has fun and has smiles on their faces, please follow the rules and make it an enjoyable Community Tournament.
